Segway of Newport shows you the "city by the sea" in a whole new way. Experience all Newport has to offer while gliding effortless on this electric transportation. Choose from two guided tours offered daily. On the Historic Mansion Tour you will visit Newport's gilded age mansions on Bellevue Avenue. Imagine life as a Vanderbilt as you cruise past mansions including the Elms, Marble House, Rough Point and the Breakers. On the Scenic Ocean Drive Tour, cruise along 10 mile "Ocean Drive", hugging the picturesque coastline of Rhode Island. Views of the Newport Harbor, Jamestown and the Atlantic Ocean are just a few of the breathtaking sights experienced.

No experience is required - just a driver's license and the ability to have a great time! Our trained staff will coach you on the proper gliding techniques. You will have plenty of practice time at our enclosed training area before gliding on the open road.

Set sail with 12 Meter Charters aboard the legendary America's Cup yachts to enjoy the best of Newport by sea! Not your typical harbor cruise, 12 Meter Charters' cruises combine the history of Newport, with the unparalleled experience of sailing on an America's Cup contender. Enjoy historic Newport sights including Fort Adams and the Newport Bridge, lighthouses and lavish estates, aircraft carriers and historic schooners, and learn the history of the America's Cup in Newport.

During your sail, you may just sit back and enjoy the sights of Newport or you may participate in the sailing! The captain and crew on board will help those wishing to be involved in the sailing and no sailing experience is necessary to help sail one of our America's Cup 12 Meters. Aboard the yachts our professional and friendly crew will coach those interested in a "hands on" sailing experience, but participation is never required. It's your choice, take part in the sailing of an America's Cup 12 Meter or just relax and enjoy the scenic views of Narragansett Bay.

What you need to know:

• $99 per person. Package includes one ticket tour from Segway of Newport and one ticket for a 2-hour sail from 12 Meter Charters.
• Reservations strongly suggested.
• All participants must be 16 years or older and have a valid drivers license.
• On your Segway Tour helmets are supplied and eye protection is required.
• All tours depart from downtown Newport.
• Both tours are approximately 2 hours.
• Wear athletic shoes(preferably without black soles) AND a sweatshirt/jacket.
• Most importantly don't forget your camera!
